Senator Rubina Khalid chairs a meeting to provide needed and transparent financial assistance to deserving women in a dignified way.

Under the leadership of Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of BISP, an important meeting was being held at BISP Headquarters. Officers and staff who monitored the disbursement of financial assistance under the Kafalat Program attended the meeting. The focus was to share field operation challenges, staff observations, and actionable improvement calls.

Senator Rubina Khalid also said that since assuming office, all BISP funds must be delivered to women with the highest dignity and utmost transparency, directed by the President of Pakistan herself, Asif Ali Zardari. She also announced that, in consultation with the State Bank of Pakistan, a pilot project for opening bank accounts for deserving women would be launched in the near future. The move seeks to ensure direct transfer of the fund into the accounts of beneficiaries, as well as prevent any human interference and illicit deduction.

Speaking to BISP staff and officers, Senator Rubina Khalid urged that all basic facilities should be provided to deserving women visiting payment centers so that they do not face any problems. She directed officials to adopt efficient strategies to avoid any unnecessary crowding at distribution centers and to ensure dignity and respect for each and every beneficiary. She also ordered field staff to ensure transparency in the entire disbursement process and take strict action against corrupt elements.

The meeting included a presentation by the Director of Field Operations, Adnan Al Hassan, to the Chairperson on the distribution process for quarterly installments and the existing payment mechanism. بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام (بی آئی ایس پی) کی چیئرپرسن سینیٹر روبینہ خالد کی قیادت میں بی آئی ایس پی ہیڈکوارٹر میں ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد ہوا۔ اس اجلاس میں کفالت پروگرام کے تحت مالی امداد کی تقسیم کی نگرانی کرنے والے افسران اور عملے نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس کا بنیادی مقصد فیلڈ آپریشنز میں درپیش چیلنجز، عملے کے مشاہدات اور بہتری کے لیے قابل عمل تجاویز پر غور و خوض کرنا تھا۔
